Jörg Mayer

Jörg Mayer has been with Wintergerst since 2016, working as an Associate Partner in Corporate Finance | M&A. His professional focus lies on advising companies and investors in the fields of business valuations, business planning based on external management accounting (controlling) and business consulting.

Jörg has over 25 years of experience at advising on the various aspects of distressed businesses and has been a managing shareholder at MCM-Management Consulting Mayer GmbH for 20 years. Prior to this, he was the Head of Finance and Administration at a subsidiary of FESTO AG and a Senior Manager and Authorized Signatory at KPMG.

He obtained his degree in business administration at the Pforzheim University’s Business School and his master’s in business administration at the Steinbeis Center of Management and Technology Stuttgart and Krems.

He relaxes after M&A projects, which are usually time-critical, by spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, traveling and biking.
