Christian Kunz joined Wintergerst already in 2012. As a Managing Partner, his main focus is on Restructuring and Business Recovery. The graduate engineer (University of Stuttgart) and business economist (MBA, McGill University Montreal) loves improving business performance and is a recognized industry expert for mechanical and plant engineering and the wood processing industry. His in-depth understanding of medium-sized family-owned companies is of great benefit to him in this respect.
Christian can draw on his many years of experience as the managing director of his family’s international group of companies in the wood processing industry as well as his advisory board positions at renowned mechanical engineering companies who hold technical leadership in their respective fields. He also gained practical transaction experience during the sale of the family-owned group of companies, which he is happy to draw on during his assignments.
In his private life, he devotes himself to his family whenever possible, as well as pursuing various sporting activities and hunting.
